Cardiac sarcoidosis is a rare form of inflammatory cardiomyopathy frequently linked to clinical complications including high-degree atrioventricular block, ventricular tachycardia, heart failure, and sudden cardiac death. A recently published consensus statement reviews the evidence on the management of different CS manifestations and provides advice on the role of immunosuppression and the treatment of cardiac complications.
