Echocardiography and Cardiomyopathies

PD Dr. Simon Stämpfli is head of the outpatient clinic and of echocardiography at the Lucerne Cantonal Hospital’s Heart Center.

His main clinical research focus is on echocardiography and cardiomyopathies, in particular amyloidosis.

Regarding basic science, Dr. Stämpfli focuses mainly on molecular mechanisms underlying arterial thrombosis and coagulation in different pathological settings, as well as amyloidosis.
